FTC Disclosure Compliance Rules
The Federal Trade Commission released a new statement about Disclosure Compliance in 2015. The rules totally about that readers or viewers aware if the writer of the post sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. the content publisher should let notify their audience, if he making the money by promoting the products.
In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about links and posts on this site:
all the product is affiliated product on smartliter.com. when someone clicks on the link and buys the product on Amazon I get a small commission from sales of certain items.
What Are Affiliate Links?
Smartliter is not an eCommerce website, purchases are made on another website that i affiliated with. when someone will click on the link on smartliter.com and purchased a particular product i get a small commission. the readers will buy the item from the seller’s website directly (not from Smartliter). the very small commission that i get helps us to make more research for providing you the best deal. the prices will be the same in both situations by the affiliated links or direct. when you buy the product from the affiliated links and price will not change.
Smartliter uses two main types of affiliate programs:
1. Amazon affiliate links.
Smartliter.com is a participant with the amazon affiliate program. The affiliate advertising program is designed to provide a commission to website owners, as well as other websites that may be associated with amazon.
2. Product affiliate links.
in these cases our commission is different when you will buy a product by clicking on links on the smartliter, then I will get a percentage of the sale.
What about sponsored content?
i don’t host sponsored posts. my goal to provide authentic information to my audience. if some company wants to publish their content on smartliter i will disclose it at beginning of the article. we make research and then we recommend products to my family and friends. thanks to your support, helps us to make more research.
